Hereford United FC have been wound up http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-30542821 When there are Premier League players earning more a week than this club owed, I think it's a travesty.
That's a real shame One of the F.A, Cup's greatest moments ever. It certainly must be the record amount of Parka coats inside a football ground.
That is a travesty - a border club at the home of the famous Bradbury Lines - the above clip absolute Cup folklore - somehow football has lost it's soul - I know nobody deserves to exist just because of history but as Dev says when one player earns more than a club owes something somewhere is very very wrong with the world. Really sorry to hera the news.
From the news it sounds like the Trust are ready with plans to start up a new club and the local authority will help make that happen as they own the freehold of the club. Good luck to them.
The Soul of football died on 20th Feburary 1992. From that day it's evolved into the winners having the most money and the people who get to see it need to have a healthy bank balance as well.
A very very sad day for real football.....how close we were ourselves - and despite our not exactly glittering season to date I'd rather have what we have than that awful expression "record expunged".....cruel and the authorities of the game as a whole need to get their "%^& together.
