Read this yesterday. It seems football is sometimes very quick to turn it's back after playing careers finish

Not really, football gave him plenty of money and he didn't manage it properly. Its not like the rest of us that work 48hrs+ a week to pay the mortgage. Ive no sympathy for any player that cant handle thousands of pounds worth of money.

good point Wizard. And, to be fair, I have just read that Arsenal are trying to help him as well.

Still feel bad for him though

HEART OF GOLD.... anybody who knows anything about addiction would realise it has little to do with how much money you have or or do not have. anybodies life can take a left turn into a brick wall if the circumstances are there..<ok>

It's a sad case, but then again there are hundreds more in a position like him who don't have the support of a former employer. I hope Arsenal are doing more than just helping one individual.

****ing hell lads get the Violins out, do you think any of these twats that throw their life away would give a **** about any of us who were in the same boat NO

People (twats) call it an illness, what a load of bollocks. We all have a choice in life and nobody can make us do what we don't want to do. If they are high in the clouds or in that much if a stooper they don't know their own name then it is obvious that is what they want to do end of.

Can't do with all the sympathy bollocks as it is their choice, same as I can't do with druggies who serve absolutely no purpose on this earth only to cause mayhem and cost the NHS a fair packet. If I am feeling down there's nowt better than having a good session on Stella and forgetting all your troubles, but there is a time and a place. I work hard all week do not drink at home but love a couple of hours Friday night and Saturdays at the footie with my boys, Sunday I rest and chill before having to get up for work at 5 on a Monday morning.

Oh happy days!!!! COME ON LEICESTER!!!
