    Was mentioned on another thread, but interesting lad as he was spotted by Real Madrid at 7 and stayed 3 years with them, before moving to Blackburn and now us.

    I remember, if I am correct, seeing him on Sky Sports News when Madrid approached. They said "remember the name, Niall Mason" a fair few years ago.

    Now he has signed for us. What went wrong?! <laugh>

    What do you mean 'Now he has signed for us, what went wrong'. He obviously feels Real Madrid isn't a bad little team, but Southampton is a team on a different level?
