Crikey someone just posted this on FB. The view of fans from Pardew's previous clubs....shocking.

    West Ham Fans
under the thumb Tue Oct 23 – 12:35.
“We had a good season that first year back in the Premiership, granted, but beyond that look at the dross we played next year. He wouldn’t play Tevez or his mate and chose Hayden Mullins every week!
“I genuinely believe his bubble will burst again at Newcastle and before long the Geordies will be on his back…”
    Jason E.7 Tue 11/13/2007 – 03:13.
“Pardew was an average manager who punched well above his weight for one year and we loved him for it. However when we were a known quantity he couldn’t change tactics and thats was that…”
    Anonymous Fri 12/08/2006 – 22:44.
“Pardew, Wednesday night was obviously a shambles, please please recognise the fact that we need someone in the team that can actually pass a football. Mascherano is recognised as a world class passer so please please play him, its nothing short of an embarassment when NRC, Yoss, Ethers are struggling to play a 5 yard pass to feet, let alone trying to spray the ball 40 yrds, sort it out. And ffs do not play long ball against Bolton as we will get F*****.”
    worldwide-iron Fri, 02/16/2007 – 10:23.
“I wanted him out 2 seasons ago and have never wavered. He sneaked us into the prem with a squad that should have walked the Championship, had a good season although with only one plan, fast attack and was found out this season for not having a plan B. His summer signings were awful, no exception as he didnt sign Tevez. A lot of players have one good season and dissapear just like Pardew will. Lower league manager.”

    Charlton Fans
    BigRedEvilMember October 2008
“Shocking tactically. Seems oblivious to the problems that we all see in the stands. And then to come out and say we were unlucky. He is pushing it. Maybe he wants a nice little pay out ;-)”
    kinveachyaddickMember October 2008
“He’s lost me after last night. Was the worst Charlton performance I have seen in a long, long time. Tactically all wrong and no passion from the players. Looking at our squad and comparing it others in the division anything less than a top six finish is simply not good enough.”
    razilMember October 2008
“I actually think the more serious problem is he seems not be able to motivate the team. If that continues we may have a very rocky season ahead, hold on your hats.”
    ChunesMember October 2008
“Yes. His tactics are inexplicable, and he seems to think that last nights performance was actually all part of a game plan. Which must be true considering it sounds similiar to the last two away performances. You can’t set up like that and just hope to ride your luck when you’re playing teams in the relegation zone. It’s just plain insanity.”
    nth london addick October 2008
“He is failing to accept that his game plan is not working and is unwilling to change it early enough,
“He has failed to take accountabillty for his errors during these games also.
“He does not see the same game as anyone who I have read posting on here as his post match interview doesnt match one that most on here have witnessed themselves.
“He is wrong for allowing that performance out of any performance they put together this season to come about,
    “No shots on target unacceptable.
“No passion within the team and failure to accept responsibility on the pitch.
“Unable to pass to each other with any quality in the final third or to retain the ball for any length of time.
“Those 3 points should not happen in any game, let alone against those mugs, and are 3 points that the manager is solely responsible for. This is my opinion and the basis that I have now lost faith in Pardew.
“The final 2 points above No passion and poor passing have been key features in all games I have witnessed in every game this season ( i didnt see Reading live but i watched it on TV and that game is the only one that I will say we had a fire in our bellies).
Christy Malyan 21st November 2012 at 6:31 pm
“By the way, a warning to all Newcastle fans about Alan Pardew – when things are going well for Pardew, they tend to go very well. But when the wheels come off, the man becomes somewhat powerless. It is not only his record at the Addicks that suggests this trend.”
    bingaddickMember January 8, 2013
“I think he has always been a chancer tactically, playing players out of position, especially in attack.”
“I was surprised he did so well at Newcastle. This season, things have unravelled big time. What is astonishing, rather like with Dowie, boards are still prepared to employ a bulls****** who is full of front but very little delivery.”

What a bunch of bitter chumps. The guy is a legend. He is working miracles on a shoestring budget. I'm excited to see him overhaul the squad in the summer. All that money, how good might he be? There could be no limit to our progress under Sir Alan. If he can deliver comfortable mid table on a budget akin to a lower echelon in the Championship, then surely CL is possible once given a significant budget to work with. Great times ahead. <ok>

Those sitting close to AP against Swansea, noted he was continually humming a little ditty to himself whilst watching the game.

It turns out the tune was called 'Three Wheels On My Wagon'.

    a) It's hardly uncommon for fans to slag off former managers

    b) Hopefully soon we can join them in slagging off Pardew the former manager

Until fairly recently I had faith in the guy but the last few months has been progressively worse and it is clear he has no clue what is wrong or how to change it. You look through our team at players we have previously lauded and think we have performed well without Cabaye previously so that alone cannot be the problem:

    Krul

    Santon - Mbeye - Colo - Debuchy

Ben Arfa - Tiote - Anita - Sissokho - Gouffran

    Cisse

They have all been players who have looked very good previously and yet look totally clueless. The manager has to be held responsible. The press are making out like we have 'suddenly' turned on a manager who has managed to secure top half safety as if he is a victim of his success. The press are just showing themselves up as clueless - any football fan who looks at us can see we are clearly far far less than the sum of our parts.

Pardew should fcking hibernate or something. Can anyone at all explain this:

What is he talking about? What does he mean?

Wtf is "we have to be clever with how we utilise players"? Play them in their fcking position you bellend. And what's all this "we" sh1t? Just stand up and take fcking responsibility for the cnt you are.

Oh, man alive, I absolutely hate, hate, hate this fcking cnt. At least when I hated Souness I knew the end would come. Same with Fat Sam. What I hate most about Parpoo is he embodies not just the epitome of an archaic, self obsessed managerial failure (Gary Megson, for example) but that he also embodies the hopelessness of Newcastle.

For me, we have three games. If we lose all three and start next season with Pardew, then I'm out, done, literally all the way, never watch it, never discuss it, no longer a football fan out.

You've more or less hit on how we all feel about things at the moment. It used to put a spring in peoples steps going to the games, now we all scuff our shoes and dawdle to the games.

That's what the wrong person in the wrong job can do to you.

The apathy really hit home with me at the Swansea home game last week. Everyone has basically turned on Pardew and want him out, but nobody could be arsed to muster a chant against him. Remember at the start of the Ashley **** storm a few years ago? Everyone was vocal, "get out of our club", "fat cockney bastard", cockney mafia, protests outside the Milburn. Nothing now. Nobody has the energy to even muster a "get out of our club" chant, when it's more deserved now than ever before. The fans have been beaten down and know they can't win. I've not looked forward to a game for months and I have actually been counting down the games in the last few weeks until I don't have to go anymore, having not renewed next season. It's a thoroughly unpleasant experience these days.

I'm fairly sure you can be thick skinned, yet still sympathetic to the views of a customer - at the very least. I have come across many senior managers and business leaders, and all share a trait of either confidence or arrogance, but I have never come across anyone who is so deliberately ignorant of the views of others as the clubs owner.

What if an email address was found and used? Do you think, if shared across enough forums, social media, etc., that enough people would be able to vocalise comments not for the attention of Mike Ashley, but towards his underlings? If Lee Charnley, Wendy Taylor, etc., were aware, do you think we could at least get a response??

Problem would be controlling it. It could very quickly turn into what any recipient would simply see as abusive and so would be closed/blocked.

It would only work if it could be kept constructive - not full of expletives or 'personal attacks' - and focused on how the fans feel and what we think could be done to actually improve things. So comments such as "**** off you fat cockney *******" really wouldn't help the cause. In fact, it would just help fuel MA's views that it's not worth communicating with fans.

And that's why I strongly advocate myself being the sole ****ing voice of the ****ing fans, I am always nice and polite, even to dickheads like Mike twatting Ashley and his little he-bitches and butt-licking-sluts <ok>
