...this time to thank the LIverpool fans for travelling to watch the team !!

Surely by now he is over exposing himself in the media ? I Think its going to be fun to watch how many soundbites he repeats from last season, but one thing i do know is that he Will ave to back up his words on the field, not like here where the results were sometimes secondaey to the performance.

Do you Think brenden is trying too hard to Get the Liverpool public on his side ?
is the reason because he knows he has dived into a massive job and only just realised the trask ahead?

Very bizzare Stuff coming out from rodgers over the last few weeks .his successs is going to have a direct impact on SCFC so please no " he is not our manager" type comments, i Will be taking an intrest in his performances but his self publicity is starting to look like he is setting himself up for a massive fall..they build you up to knock you down brenden ;)

Brenda has realised that Dalgleish was a cult hero at Anfield so lets get them onside and make himself mr popular, but the other thing he knows is that the feelings of the fans will ultimately decide the length of time he stays at anfield. because if they turn on him it will be have P45 will travel for young brendan

But expect a river of bullshit to be spouted between now and the end of the season if he lasts that long. But like us the scousers will swallow every drop of it .But i suspect Swansea will be the nearest Brenda will ever get to managing Barcelona<whistle>

I can't remember Shankley and Paisley ever writing open letters to fans. Now there's two class acts for you and quite rightly both legends. I wonder what they'd have made of it all?

Liverpool's fans are in love with their club. Rightly so, good for them. They do what they do because that's part of the "job". Traveling away for a match is part of the "job". It's been that way for decades; it's not something brand new. It's not because of Rogers. Thanking them for doing what they consider natural is awkward and insulting.

There's an awkwardness creeping into all of this with BR. Maybe Watford saw it with us and chuckled the same way. It's going to be a very entertaining season. Wouldn't it be fun if RM finally got it to click at Wigan and they finished higher than Livepool.

Haven't read this because NJ is on my ignore list and that won't change but really, who gives a ****? Let it go. We know he was great for us. We know he's apparently reneging on his agreement not to take our players and is therefore a bit of a ruthless ****. It's all been said. Repeatedly.

But ffs concentrate on the Swans. I'm sick to death of hearing about Rodgers and Liverpool to be honest. It's now practically every other ****ing thread. <doh>

Concentrating on this bitterness is counter-productive and asks us to look back, not forward. We have an exciting young manager who's made some great signings already.

Why the **** comment on the thread if you havent Even read it ?

Can the mods please delete the above comment? It adds nothing the the article i created and only serves to allow kj to continue derailing every thread i create <ok>

Results Will be how brenden gets judged, at swansea he could dress up bad performances and be forgiven, the Liverpool fans Will need to convinced before they start beleiving the hype.

It has a sense of desperation about it, like the guy that tries too hard to be liked only for people to Find that trait very unlikable !!

Success for him Will probably mean raiding our club for more players, the guy has no class after how he used the media to unsettle players ,so wish him nothing but the worst. Im waiting for the London press to Get their Clæs into him, it Will be fun to read and watch i reckon .

DragQueen waving his knickers is he musty? <laugh>

You can bet money on the Queen putting in an appearance when I'm around. He's another one I ignore for obvious reasons. A real self-publicizing 'look at me' poster, just like his mate. They'd rather bitch about previous managers or teams that have 'stolen' them rather than concentrate on our team - the only one that matters at the end of the day.

Btw what's up with Oz medals this time? Press must be rounding on them in your neck of the woods.

I've read some of the Sydney Morning Herald online musty. They're not happy are they? Is it that the world has caught up or have standards slipped down under? We always think of Oz punching above its weight don't we?

Well as always I'll be shouting for Oz unless they're directly against Team GB but now the swimming's over I fear the worst.
