    Going to Plymouth on a season long loan according to their local paper.

    With this, ghilas and probably Bullard there must be at least some trimmed off the wage bill. New signings anyone?

    Good luck to Will. With some more people off the wage bill it certainly makes the prospect of new signings more likely. After last night i'd imagine a striker or 2 will be in NPs thoughts right now.

    We extended his contract at the start of this season to the end of this season. What was the point if we're now loaning him out for the full campaign?

    His wages will be low and if he impresses on loan he will probably get a new deal here and a chance of getting in the team next season.

    He's going to be 23 in October and he's never been anywhere near getting in the team. Playing at that level he's going to need to get about 40 goals to his name (goals and assists combined) to stake a claim, it's not like a youngster going out to show they're ready for league football who we can slowly integrate into the first team when he comes back.

    surely with all these departures and probably olofinjana aswell new players are needed we are very thin on players should injurys or suspensions happen

    If Atkinson can't get on the pitch when we're losing 2-0 to Macclesfield, then he'll never get on it.

    Risk of injury scuppering the loan deal I would have thought would be the reason but I agree he is not good enough 4 us

    Well his loan news answers that question. But why not give Emerton and Holaham a go. They could not have been any worse. Whatever the saving on Atkinson though, ""every penny helps"".

    why not if it gets them first team football and proper game time. both are not ready yet for NPC.
