Swansea City have confirmed that defender Ben Davies could be sidelined for three to four weeks with a sprained ankle. The 20-year-old suffered the injury during the Swans' 4-0 win over Sunderland at the Liberty Stadium last Saturday. "I went up for a challenge in their box early in the first half and I landed awkwardly," Davies told the club's official website. "I managed to play on for nearly 30 minutes but I knew I had to come off. I am disappointed but I just have to do my rehab now and come back as soon as possible." The Welshman has netted twice in 12 appearances for the Swans this season. We're having a lot of injuries lately, we have a few options but thats a long time out for a sprained ankle ?
Ash is still out as well . Michael Laudrup has poured fresh doubt on Ashley Williams’ chances of leading Swansea City into the South Wales derby after revealing he is not fit to return against Kuban Krasnodar tomorrow night. Swans boss Laudrup had hoped skipper Williams would have been able to shake off a nagging ankle ligament injury to resume training last week having missed the last month of action. And there had been some early aims of putting the Wales centre-back into the squad for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Russian outfit Kuban at the Liberty Stadium. But Williams, 29, is still to re-join the squad for full training, leaving him out of contention for the key Euro game and in doubt of making Sunday’s Premier League fixture with West Ham.
Push to shove we have tiendalli, Long term jazz but i honestly Think laudrup would put amat into a full back slot if we were struggling. These few games amat is getting is making him stronger so i dont Think. It would be too much of a gamble
