D.F is out at Posh and if you think our form has dipped you have to look at them to see what happens when the wheels really fall off. Many said they were the worst team to be seen down at the Gate for a long time

    Who's next?

Peterbro were in my original top 6 and I altered them down the table when they sold Assam......
Although 1 man does not a team make look at Chesterfld no Doyle and 4 defeats
SOMETIMES IN THE LOWER DIVISIONS IT IS 1 MAN MAKETH THE TEAM!

Just read a report on the fergie leaving ..seems there was a mass exodus... 3 coaches and 3 others joining him! The academy coach taking over! 4 words ship rats desert sinking. well known phrase!

A fairly average manager IMHO and will never hold a candle to his father

Posh are a over achieving side,They have small crowds.some clubs want to exceed where they should be.
League 1 top ten is their level.
There are plenty of managers looking for work, but DM their chairman must be realistic where posh is in the football pyramid.

I would think you are far far to young to remember, old expression "green / wet behind the ears", when Burnley low gates, always sold a player each season were flying with the big boys in the top flight for years. How could they sell a a very good player every season? because they brought them through the ranks. .very few foreign players in them days.. most teams had a "reserves" and the younger squads as well, so gates helped.
look at city on how where you play is important, when we went to top tier our crowds were over 20000 getting there were less than 16000, Championship 14,000 First div 12000.. so no POSH is capable of Championship and holding it just need to get there look at Sheff for clues as to how easy it is!

I'm amazed he's lasted so long. They are a very poor team

just looking at the recent sackings in div 1
GJ ....... BIG surprise as they had just begun to get a "new " team together, a couple better results 5pts from 9 then a 1-0 defeat at POSH! and were compactly situated in bottom 5 now adrift
DW.......(not so much a surprise) .. but one anyway as they were mid table, games in hand 7pts to PO's and 6/7 above Relegation
DF.........wondered if it would happen? but have been inconsistent since britt assam... sacked when 15th!, Sat against top team nil points had it been a bottom team and 3 points they would be 9th and 1 point from play off's.... performed the same as Oldham Fleetwood Chestrfld Walsall Rochdale!!!
SP....... this one is hard to fathom, with bad time at start of the season with all the hassle and crap, need a striker or 2! "BOARD" and now just outside the TW 12 pts from 36 not good but lost to Swindon PNE and a rejuvenated Gills plus only 1 defeat in 5 ( 4 defeats in 12 ) but need to score....to score need a striker...
probably all but SP would have gotten close to the target expected now.. maybe even SP. Don't think Skivvers will succeed but wish him well
