According to the Footybunker, we and the bar codes are apparently after Celtic striker Gary Hooper. He's not one that i've heard much about. Anyone have views or knowledge of this guy.<cheers>

From the little I have seen he seems a good striker, the problem is will he be that good in the EPL. One for MON to decide on if true but with his Celtic connections I would fancy us to get him if we wanted him.

Spending the past few years in Jockland, ive seen a fair few celtic games and have a fair few mates who are celtic fans. Hooper bangs them in for fun up there, and scored a quality goal against Gyans fromer team Rennes in the Europa League. I would have him in a heartbeat. A real poacher.

Hmmmm... not trying to be a damp squib but a certain player called Stokes also bangs em in for fun for the hoops....last decent striker I saw that came from Scotland was Dagleish...sorry!

Talking of Celtic I see that super striker they paid us £1.8m for has not yet had one single solitary start.

Not a Stokes type of player fortunately. Very quick in the box.

    Definite yes for me.

It's a big no for me and far to big a gamble. I've seen a fair few Celtic games as well and he hasn't impressed and tbh not better than anything we already have.
