    Dear Mr.Scally,
I am keen to assist in your ambition of bleeding dry every last £ out of fans of Gillingham Football Club. I have thought of other ways that this could be achieved - with regards to replica kits for supporters.
I have to say, at this point, that I am extremely surprised ( as well as a little disappointed * ) that the Club has not altered the design of its' kit for 2013/14 ( don't tell me that last season's kit is totally different to that of this coming season - that would be you being more pedantic than BSG ) - at least in celebration of our championship winning season last season - if not to be consistent with practically ALL other Football League teams - who habitually change the kit EACH season and who must consider each fan as some sort of cash cow who will churn out payment without blinking an eyelid.
My proposals are that it is still not too late to change the kit for 2013/14. Surely you must realise that most, if not ALL fans have retained the replica shirt from 2 seasons ago - and will NOT purchase another one at the princely sum of £39.99. Have you not not considered just how MUCH the Club will potentially lose? I suppose you can be appeased by the knowledge that you can recoup your losses by extorting extra revenue from season ticket holders.
Another proposal would be to introduce a different kit specifically designed to be used in each of the different cup competitions that involve the Club. This could be extended to other merchandise such as scarves etc.
I'm full of brilliant ideas - perhaps I could be your Marketing manager - sorry I can't speak Spanish ( or should that be Italian )
    Yours sincerely,
    alwaysright.

alwaysright - sadly you would not make a good sales manager, you have overlooked the biggest cash cow that would be possible...if i ran a football club...instead of issuing supporters with colour coded books...I would change all the kits accordingly...

    Blue for Adult Male shirt
    Aqua for Adult Senior Citizen
    Green for Male U18
    Orange for Male U12

You can see where I am going with this...lol

Not only would you make an additional £40 from EVERY supporter (not just ST holders) but Preistfield would be so emblazoned with colour the opposition will be completely dazzled.

Spent a couple of days on a course this week with a couple Mankchester ST holders - hard to comprehend the cost of supporting that club compared to us!

Season tickets around £700 not sure what sort of seat that gets you though - everything seems to cost a fortune - the price of the EPL I guess
