Another KC Stadium

Exactly as the title says.

Craven Park is to be renamed the KC Lightstream Stadium.

Wonder how many away fans will end up at the wrong one.

 

Such a common name.

 

It's a good name in my opinion. It doesn't have city in it, and Lightstream is a very cool word sure to attract the masses and bring in foreign investment.

Though I agree it will be confusing.

 

"Lightstream Stadium" sounds cool to be fair

"KC Lightstream Stadium" is stupid.

 

What's a Lightstream and is it even a word?

 

KC's high speed internet service; and no. (In that order).

 

Lightstream is just the brand name for KC's fibre optic broadband. It's obviously been chosen just to differentiate from the original KC stadium, but as no one will use the fulll title it seems unlikely to work.

 

As much of a word as "submarium". We have the worlds only one of them too!

 

What does KC stand for?

 

Kingston Communications.

When's that coming in then?

 

Is it something to do with Allam?

 

Nothing to do with Allam.

 

Its our phone/internet company local to hull and has been for a century or so

It's how we got the funding for our stadium

 

When the KC first opened some away fans turnede up @ Arco in error. Lol.

But Brady, I can tell you now that it hasn't been your internet company for a century

 

It's already available in some areas like Swanland but as it requires laying fibre cables all over East Yorkshire its a slow process.

 

Hull is quite advanced... but more a telephone company until the invention of the internet though
