The lads done well so far, now looks set for a canny pay rise as he is about to sign a new 5 year deal with the scousers, and will probably be their captain next season once Stevie ****face, ****s off. Any one reckon that there is a future England captain material there?
I want to say no, there's no chance of him being England captain, but right now I can't see a better fit candidate. There's players like Shaw who could develop leadership qualities over the next four years but even then he'll only be 23 ish by the time Rooney retires from England. A lot could come down to how well Harry Kane captains Spurs, he could be next in line as well.
The thing being Liverpool played better with him running things than with Gerrard back. Sunday proved that.
Luke Shaw? I'm sorry Terry but that is rose tinted glasses on your part I'm not in the Henderson for captain camp but Luke's ****ing Shaw is a million miles off
Four years ago would you have said Henderson? He was ****ing **** til last season mate. Nobody can see into the future, the kid is 19 years old, he might turn out a leader, he might not, that's why I said 'could' and not 'definitely will'.
I always knew Jordan would become a class player. Not sure if he'll make England captain but let's face it, he hasn't got much competition has he? Fair play on his new contract, the lad deserves it.
