....this time Ben Sahar for Hertha Berlin who won 6-1. ....and another Ishmael Miller for Middlesbrough.
read this report from tonights game Argentinian playmaker Emmanuel Ledesma provided the creative spark and set up Boro's first two goals with slide-rule passes. He sliced open the away defence after 13 minutes with a perfectly-weighted through ball which Hoyte raced on to before curling into the top corner with the outside of his right boot. Wednesday levelled in controversial fashion three minutes after half-time when Madine pounced on Michail Antonio's knockdown, despite appearing at least a yard offside. But Boro restored their lead on the hour mark with Ledesma again the architect. He won possession and fed Scott McDonald, who turned the ball goalwards before Miller tapped in to make sure.
It's all well and good in the lower echelons of English football. Could they do it in the Prem though? Only sayin.
We need more of them through-balls. Keep trying that nice, weighted pass from Taraabt to Cissé or whoever up front, we're bound to score. We don't try that sort of play enough. Too scared to go direct! We always end up going sideways. Have to try the direct through ball more. At the time, I liked Sahar. Interesting kid. I also liked Ledesma at the time as well. I think he just needed to bulk up a bit. We may see him in the Prem next year, yet!
And Ronaldo left Utd and keeps scoring. People leave teams Ferdinand left us and scored for Newcastle and spurs........
Careful man, you're talking into an annoying WUM stalker I'm flattered, but it's not worth it man. And what's with all the negativity? As long as we sack MH by January, we'll be fine, we'll survive relegation.
