3 Wins on the trot, best form for months...even with Sonks out. How on earth did we not concede a goal?!

I still predict top 10 finish.

Hyam sounded best player...shame I couldnt make it along the coast. AJB No 1 keeper. Great energy, great all round team performance.

Well done the whole team!

CYBs!

Should have been more comfortable? 3 wins on the bounce feels great, the old cliché 'there's a long way to go', but I am feeling a lot more comfortable looking at the table now!

Reasons to be cheerful part 3! <ok>

Hyam by far our best player and listerning on Suffolk, the legend who is Ray Crawford, said that we were by far the better team!

Who needs Pearce, Ward and Henderson.

A very satisfying double this season.

Sitting just waiting for portsmouth to score two in injury time, ery happy with that result.

Time for a bit of 'blind optimism'. were 12 points from the drop, only 14 the play-offs, i know its easier to lose etc. but taking all our recent performances into account cant it be said that if were not safe from relegation yet, play-offs are also within reach?

really i think that we can 'safely' expect a respectable mid table finish now

Great result . sounds like Delaney and Smith played well . Maybe they have just been the scapegoats for bad team performances and fans frustrations . i like to think so anyway as they are the guys for the next few weeks . things are lookin up tho

All very encouraging and nice to see Warky's more cheerful tone!

If we manage a win against Cardiff next saturday, then a very respectable top 10 finish is realistic. Optimist I may be, but I cant in all honesty see us making top 6. And, our shocking goal average will let us down.

Cardiff will be a good test and possibly more of a yardstick as they've been playing good football for weeks/months so more of an opportunity to compare ourselves to the supposed 'top dogs' but must say I'm surprised with the clean sheet... I see no-one predicted that

Great result tonight, feared the worst with Delaney back but we sounded pretty tight at the back.
Think we may have had a bit of luck with their disallowed goal, it may have got a flick from one of our players on the way in, looks like the luck is now on our side.!

4-5 more wins will see us safe, top 10 finish is a long way off....but you never know.!

Bring on the Bluebirds..

Great result, still hoping for at least a top half finish.

He must have remembered he was doing coverage for Ipswich this time then because when he's been on Express FM covering Portsmouth games he's generally been blindly supportive of Portsmouth. Not saying he wasn't right - you were the better team on the night and probably deserved to win - just saying that Crawford tends to get emotionally invested in the game very easilly and gets very partisan about the views of the team he's supporting.

Ray Crawford has covered a number of games on Suffolk due to his obvious connections with us. Although he is a big Pompey fan he will always have a place in his heart for Ipswich. I think last night he was hoping for a draw! I have had the pleasure in meeting him a few times down at Portman Road and the guy is quite simply a legend in this corner of East Anglia <ok>

You can't argue with the last 3 results so I guess I am happier! Still not convinced that Jewell is the man to take us up and it says something about us that we are happy for a mid table finish! We are Ipswich for christs sake and we should be doing better!

Don't let our last 3 results cloud anyone’s judgement about Jewell, we are bare bones as far as our CB situation goes, have been for months and months, what has he done about it, sweet fa..!

Delaney went down injured last night & stayed down for a while, that could have left Jack Ainsley & Tommy Smith as our CBs....as if Tommy & Damien is not scary enough....

I would go as far to say that Jewell actually stumbled across this team and set up through injuries to the more senior players. Hoppers is right in as much as we are still desperately short at CB, a position that has badly needed attention all season. It comes to something nowadays when we are all praying that Delaney doesn't get injured!
