Two of the greatest days in our club's history have resulted in wins over West Brom. 3-2 in 1967 and 1-0 in 1982, days and performances that still bring a warm smile when remembered. It's fair to say today could prove just as big a win as those two if it helps us stay up. After the injustice of the home match this season with SWP's goal being ruled out we're owed one, let's hope we get it right today, I've every confidence we can do it! C'mon you Rrrrrs...
Yes, we must get something today. Even a draw would be good, I just hope that we can take our home form to the Hawthorns. If we do we have a great chance of winning.
Great pointers Sooper Fantastic pictures from Highbury when Clive Allen burried that goal in front of the R's following, a repeat of that and I'll go absolute bonkers today!
I have total faith in this group of players. They know how important this is. They know they are capable of good things. Nothing to fear
I remember crying my eyes out when clive allen scored and we won that game, I was only 9, which started off my dad and all his mates who we were with. I think I shall be crying again today regardless of the result. If we win then surely we will survive. If we lose then it means we will have to beat either tottenham, Chelsea or city in order to survive. While I'm praying for survival, I actually felt much better a few weeks ago when it looked like we were down. My heart and blood pressure can't take much more. Finger nails, what are they? I haven't got any left!
Here's irony for you. I've "never had" fingernails before, bit them all my life (bad bad habit). But I've actually stopped three weeks ago! Not bit since even though this is as nervewracking as the Faurlin saga. Must be the confidence I have we'll stay up
Clive Allen has retired mate, and we're not playing at Highbury. Bit hard for a repeat Keep the faith though we will win today
