Will swansea allow him to sign for us if they don't have a replacement.They are after Jones but he could be going to Turkey and they havn't been linked with anyone else.I can't see them letting him go if they don't have a replacement themselves as that will leave them short up top.So if it's a case of not selling till they buy we could be left high and dry and stuck with what weve got.Hopefully were after 2 strikers so if one doesn't come off were ok but if not then who knows.

I don't see it that way, but regardless you won't get him for below the release clause (whatever that is), because we don't sell players that we want to keep on the cheap. But I don't think this move will happen as we won't have enough time to bring someone in, registering a player with the welsh fa as we still need to is a nightmare as we need international clearance, if its not done by wednesday it's not going to be IMO
It is very difficult when a player wants to leave and makes it public. This usually ends in a transfer and I think Laudrup is letting his ego get in the way of business. Most managers would get the business done before this starts to unsettle the rest of the team.
Where has he said he wants to leave in public ? I haven't really looked but these newspaper/TV rumours normally have one source, they don't do investigative journalism they just repeat what the hack over the road says
I find it weird that he wants to come when he knows he will only be a bench warmer for us, no different to what he's doing now. I think we would be just as well getting Guidetti on loan until the summer to cover us.
I think he will play up top with fletch that will be the first question asked am i getting game time if not he wont come.

I'm not against the idea mate, that does look good and it would always be Catts playing before Gardner (unless injured or suspended). I'm a Wickham fan though and would love to see him giving a real run in the team from now until the end of the season. I think he has the potential to be a real star.
I think him and Fletcher are to similar both big lads is what i mean by that. Where as Graham is completely different to both of them and he will naturally run off Fletcher.Wickham i would use as an impacted player for now he had a chance against bolton at home and did himself no favours for me.Where as at there place coming off the bench he change the game.
