Saturday morning pubs open soon day off work cricket world cup meanwhile can always have a laugh at Swanseas comedy manager.
Watched a few of the Womens WC games. Quite entertaining. Wonder if Cooper has Nevilles phone number. Saying that, not sure the swans could afford any of the lionesses. I suppose cooper does know he's got the main job not the U23s.
I said as much on their board. Good luck to him. He's got his work cut out. He's a ponty boy by all accounts. His dad is a bluebird. Talk about conflict of interest.
Watched the England Ladies WC hame last night. They should have scored more. Good close ball control and movement but gave the ball away so much in the last third. Just like watching City. Also so much slower that the mens game (the cameramen being used to screening mens football were often well ahead of what the ladies were doing) and the keepers struggle in a full size goals - see the 2 goals from outside the box in the Scotland v Japan game. Male keepers would easily have tipped over the bar or even caught it. Controversial comment - Ladies should play on 2/3rds size pitches and goals. Positive comment - the players are much easier on the eye. Sexist? Me? No shaven headed, bearded, tattooed monsters although I had doubts about one or two of the Argies.
Agree about the keepers, though there have been some good saves. Reduction in pitch and goal sizes is an option that should be explored. A few shaven heads (well, partially), and while they mightn't be monsters, plenty of tats on show (was careful with the spelling). It's been quite entertaining with some good skills and tactics on show if not the speed.
No shaven headed tattooed monsters. Normally seen on egg chasing days with cowboy hats screaming cmon Shane.
How would you know they were shaven headed under their dafodil hats? Not long to the world cup now. I'm looking forward to it.
