David Amoo has joined League 1 side Bury on a one-month loan deal.

It wasn't that long ago that we hoped he'd be a good enough temporary replacement for Cameron Stewart.

Also, one-time Tigers target Andrew Davies has joined Bradford from Stoke with view to a permanant move. I remember Phil Brown was prepared to shell out a million quid on him.

I've thought Davies was good Championship player, he's got to be better then League 2. I also think he played a few Prem games for Boro

****! <doh> that's the whole thread ****ed <laugh> I didn't even think to check.. They'd been a League 2 side as long as I could remember (not that I often check League 2) I didn't realise they'd been promoted last year..

I thought Amoo was ****e, apart from a decent finish at DQPR, he looked way out of his depth.

I remember you saying that a few times. He only made a handful of appearances and he hardly started any if at all, but still looked like he good beat a man when he did come on. I think there was one game where he came on early in the first half (might have been for Garcia when he had a dodgy knee but hadn't figured it out yet) and he looked particularly dangerous. Not a patch on Brady, but he had something we lacked at the time.

Comedy value? I thought he looked a bit like a headless chicken tbh.

Headless chicken is a good description.

He played seven times for us, he looked **** six times, then on the seventh, he scored against DQPR.

I think League One is probably where he should be, I never rated him at all.

Though I do wish him well.

    Lanky streak of piss. <whistle>

Amoo would improve a load with the right coaching but probably a lot less of a prospect than some of the lads we have at the moment like Stewart.

He might set up Cullen for a few goals... if Cullen gets bloody selected that is..

anyway Amoo will always be my cult hero cos he scored just as the Dramas' VIP box were popping the bubbly.. I was delighted.. they had to put it on hold for another week..
