not the best game but we battered them and fully deserved the 3 points we are now safe and can just look up. What a manager, what a chairman, what a club. These truly are our glory years. Up the mighty mighty potters

Not a pretty game but Hull came for a point and failed. 3pts for us and now level on points with the Hammers, who I thought would be difficult to catch, and just 1 pt below Swansea. We have a chance to overtake them both now. Toffees up next.

There were large chunks of dullness but I thought Adam really livened things up. It was good to see show how eager he was to make a mark. Now that Ireland is injured, he'll probably whether a bit of a run in the team.

Incidentally, did you watch MOTD? Ruud suggested that Ireland brought that tackle on himself by making a tackle on Figueroa earlier. Nope, definitely no anti-Stoke bias there.

to be honest how Hull set up for a draw it was never going to be a good game. Adam played really well when he came on

You can only play what's on the pitch and we got the result. What Hughes has demonstrated since his arrival (over Pulis) is that he can rotate players in and out effectively - we don't always get the result but there is far more variety in our approach.

I agree there seems to be more than just plan A going on.

we have lots more options now, we can lump it into Crouch if need be, let Moses run at them, keep the ball a lot better and a big surprise to me has been Walters fantastic form, also every player is fighting to either get in the team or stay in the team. I cant wait for the Everton game.

Walters is great utility and impact player, he is not a 20 goal 45 game starter that Pulis tried to make him, his age and lack of natural athleticism restricts him to purposeful and concentrated actions.
