On Saturday we saw a great night for the UFC and MMA - and a horrible night for boxing. It wasnt the most spectacular fight card the UFC has produced, but the organisation continues to satisfy its viewers with great fights, regardless of wether its on pay per view, free on tv, or streamed online. Professionalism from the company, the fighters and the athletic commission left a great impression on me as a huge fan anyway.. Its too bad boxing failed my expectations once again. I saw the main and co-main event and was disgusted by what i seen. Seeing two controversial endings, one with earlier stoppage and another with a blatant foul, a lack of sportsmanship, and the carelessness of a referee made me realise that as a fan im wasting my time, theres only one good thing about boxing and thats Larry Merchant....
