QPR secure signing of midfielder Oscar Gobern 24-year-old signs 12 month deal at Loftus Road Gobern had been on trial with Chris Ramsey's side QPR have completed the signing of midfielder Oscar Gobern. Gobern has signed a one-year deal at Loftus Road, after impressing on trial during pre-season. The 24 year-old, who left Huddersfield Town at the conclusion of his contract last season, will wear the number 17 shirt. The situation sums us up, Supposed to be used to make players fight for there place on a 1yr then goes out after playing a couple and is now injured until his contract runs out. Farce. Another couple hundred grand gone in a puff of smoke. added that to the running costs of Diakite who played well preseason cant even get on the subs bench. (If he's so dangerous why do our players never get acl's in training?) He could be used to make players fight for their places but we sign Gowrong while the 6 million dollar man does bugger all. Bring back Diakite.
