    From Wiki.

They are the oldest football club in the world that are now professional, having been formed in 1862, 28 November 2012 being the 150th anniversary. Between 1888–89 and 2011–12 they have played a total of 4,664 Football League matches – more than any other English team.

Be a pity to see them go, but the way things are at the moment they may not be the only club to fold.

It wasn't that long ago that they were able to boast of the captures of Sven Goran Erikson and Sol Campbell to the club..

But I suppose it shows the nature of the modern game and they will probably be living by the seat of their pants for the next few years and struggle to stay in the football league.

......and that was incredibly short lived. Just the beginning of their problems I suspect. Another small club trying to over extend though not on the same scale as some others thankfully.

Perhaps Juventus will step in and save them!

Afterall it was Notts County that first inspired them to establish Juventus football club! <ok>

Juventus get a feeder club that nutures all their young talent in a competitive league and Notts County get a decent squad of players! Everyone is happy!

I still can't believe that loophole exists, or for that matter that only Udinese have exploited it. The Bundesliga is probably closest to the championship in terms of physicality, and their league is financially run very well. It wouldn't be too surprising if some of the richer German clubs look to exploit this too. Another nail in the coffin of our national team.

I dare say if enough noise is made about it, especially if Watford go up, it will be closed soon enough. The managers and Chairmen of Middlesbrough, Palace, Hull City or whoever misses out in promotion are highly likely to squeal.

From my POV IH is right though (it should be closed), it is a massive loophole that has been very effectively exploited and I do wonder if the PL also allow the same to happen? If they do not, wtf are Watford going to do if they do get promoted?
