Boyata is a excellent defender, would love this to happen! ive seen him play quite a few times for Man Citys reserve side and hes very strong, alot like Caulker actually!
 
A solitary defender will not turn the ship back from the falls but he could be a good addition. However we need to pick up a quality creative midfielder (a la Hartley) to add new flavour to the mix, and surely there will be some available when the premiership teams announce their list that they will ship out on loan, or permanent.

I still need convincing that KM is our long term best bet but if he brings in some quality to turn around our fortunes I will back off him!

We have a midfielder in the Hartley mould in Neil Kilkenny! the problem is keef wont play him!!........
 
I thought KM had been told no signings until some of deadwood has been shipped out? A quality defender would make some difference (as Caulker did last year) but agree that still need another midfielder and left back as very short on cover/quality in those areas
Aren't there any teams in British Columbia that would take the likes of LJ and NH
 
Reading his Wiki page suggests he is just what we need. My buddy who is a massive Blue Mooner suggests he is good enough for the prem, and we would be lucky to get him.

Sounds like exactly the right sort of defender for us.
 
I had him for Leicester on Football Manager and he turned out to have a value of 24m <ok>
 
This would be very good if it happens - the problem is that now he will be on other teams radar as well
