Wonder if a few of the "guests" are made up of data mining companies. Maybe not now but in the future. Certainly food for thought! http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/sep/24/facebook-generation-y
So what? There is no link to our names or addresses, the IP they have is irrelevant to knowing who we are. Of course loads of guests are Google, etc trawling the site, it's how they do rankings, etc Shame you're too thick to have a clue about any of it
Prick, they're linking your language fingerprints here to the fingerprint in other outlets where you are not anonymous e.g. Facebook. Read the article in future before you make a complete arse out of yourself in future, its painful to see you fail so hard sometimes
I know what I'm ****ing talking about you moron. I don't have a facebook, all my email accounts are under fake names, the only thing online with my real ID is my LinkedIn account, but that has no ****ing relevance to not606. Before throwing insults, try and have a ****ing clue
Oh yes it is when they realise, oh this persons language fingerprint on LinkedIn is the same as this pricks fingerprint on some Aldi server, (no offence mick , sports forum called not606
Who gives a ****. If you need to hide behind a username on the internet you're a ****ebag. The internet does not guarantee a right to anonymity; in fact that's how *****philes like Bib and Tina are allowed to roam free unchecked.
Language fingerprint? I give up. Do you honestly think that anything on my LinkedIn account is similar to stuff posted on here? Don't talk about stuff you are clueless about, shame it doesn't leave you much
Your a ***** Toby, just because you talk about different things does not disguise the fingerprint. Its subconsious. "Each child demonstrates a unique “fingerprint” when it comes to the units in their language repertoire. Just as no two fingerprints are alike, no two language profiles are alike. Kids learn words, word parts, and word combinations that they’ve realized are important in their own lives, and so there are as many different language fingerprints, or language profiles, as there are word learning environments"
*sigh* Do you know what LinkedIn is? Yes/No Do you know the topics that appear on GC? Yes/No 2 easy questions, I gave you the answers too as you're quite simple. I know a lot about language and the complexities of it, but also how language is used in computing/programming. You, on the other hand, have nothing Go away
Of course I know what linked in is, its a site that landed me a job that pays significantly more than you get judging by your salary thread I have to write official reports, im pretty sure the fingerprint transfers even though the vocabulary would be unrecognisable to my typings here. You see it is subconsious and not affected by talking about different things. Algorithms to analyse this are not new, you (supposedly) should know this. Its the concept of this sort of use I had not considered. stop digging toby
FFS Noone writes their CV in a natural manner. My LinkedIn profile contains a list of the jobs I've done, a brief resumé and the schools I attended. There is no algorithm in the world that can linguistically link my profile with the ****e I post on here. None. Not one. With a hell of a lot of data maybe you could analyse patterns and sentence structures, but there's not enough data on my LinkedIn profile to do so. Now ****ing give up and stop pretending to be right
LIES I attached a goatse pic to my cv and also put a caveat of **** ye English ****s on it ... needless to say I didnt get the job with Scotland Yard
What a pile of ****e. The subconscious has no control over syntax and sentence structure when you're comparing a C.V with pish spoken on a forum. You're just plucking any old crap out the air now and Toby is making you look like a stupid bawbag.
Jakey do you speak to your Grandparents in the same way as you talk to your 'mates' in the pub? (Sorry for going with an unrealistic scenario, try to imagine the concept of having friends?)
ASorry toby - he's right. I put down talking about badger buggery under hobbies and interests and for likes I put down talking **** on the internet and for dislikes I put scousers. There's nothing we can do about it
That's a good point. I put down 'posting pics of mutilated scrotums on a forum populated by ****s' and 'making deluded thick plastic geordie pikeys look like window-licking mutants' down as mine. Those pesky algorithms

And tonight's maths homework is: If you have 2 balls in one hand and a cock in the other, how many years in jail will I get? Wrong thread ??? I dont care I'm a ****ing rebel

"style is dictated by the subconscious and forms the “genetic” fingerprint of the writer’s work" "Swedish physicists have developed a formula to identify individual writers by a unique 'literary fingerprint'" "This paper examines the premise that style is dictated by the subconscious and forms the "genetic" fingerprint of a writer's work using statistical analysis on vocabulary distribution" Your conscious may not think you, id bet oyu wouldbe surprised
