Club Announcement Ref: Jimmy Bullard from Mark Maguire

I can confirm that the Club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard. Mr Bullard has a right of appeal and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time that might prejudice this process.
The Club will continue to focus on the development and performance of the squad going forward and is concentrated on efforts to deliver a positive season on and off the pitch for the Tigers.
We respect that there will be significant interest in this matter but will continue to act with professionalism and at all times in the best interests of the Club.

Particularly like the last paragraph and gives reassurance we aren't run by cowboys like the Duffman era

Nige's press conference in 45 minutes should be interesting

I think it will be a case of, "the matter is between the club and Mr Bullard, I wont be answering questions on this matter"

wait for poor percy to say the club has shown no professionalism in the matter and bullard should be player-manager. but in the real world can we see bullard appealing - costing us money or will he act like a man and accept the decision and move to another club for a huge signing on fee

Either or, Bullard will be quids in, granted maybe not as much as sitting out his contract here but he will get a payment from somewhere, he always seems to

I doubt it, my money is on him appealing for a pay off.. AND THEN demanding a large signing on fee from the next club.
