He has signed a two year contract
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has agreed to become Tottenham's new manager on a two-year contract.
The final elements of the deal are being finalised before an announcement.
He has won the Australian title with South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar, Japan's top flight with Yokohama F Marinos and also led the Australian national team to victory at the 2015 Asian Cup.

Postecoglou takes over a Tottenham side who finished eighth in the Premier League and face a first season without European football since 2009-10.

My favourite bit is when he asserts that no one at all thought they'd make top 4 and invites us to search youtube to prove it, then puts up a list of people many of whom predicted top 4 finish for them.

To have been top as they were, more so in the business
end of the season, with the pts gap they had, no
involvement in domestic/UEFA competitions, and Citeh :

1, sensing that in the CL this year could be their year
(you cannot tell me they would not have ditched the PL
if it would guarantee they win the CL)

2. still in the FA cup (which is a deadly creator of fixture congestion)

yeah, they blew it big time.

I think twas rcl who summarised it as objectively they should
be proud/disappointed with the outcome, but that on the
banter side, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

My son - also a Spurs supporter of course - lives in Melbourne so I will see what he has to say.
