One of the nice things about having Redknapp as manager is the knowledge that he is in control of his players and that that affects team spirit positively. Under Hughes, any 'big name' players spelt trouble and made me feel better not. I believe he won't have him at Loftus Rd if he doesn't feel he'll adapt, so if Harry fancies him well so do I.
I think he may do a good job given our circumstances. Can't rubbish his pedigree and may have a point to prove in his twilight
What's sad is that I cannot remember the last time that we were introducing a lad from the youth / reserves to have a crack at the first team who showed promise and really wanted to play for the side. OR even someone else's youth side - closest thing recently was Mackie. I remember C Allens fist game - him and Goddard coming through - turning the next two seasons around for us... - oh well. Now we seem to chase ex has beens - never build on this ..
