The whole welsh league set up has changed for this season. there is now, FAW prem, Championship (north and south). That means now side like Briton Ferry and all those who have gone from what was Welsh league div 1 to the championship are now bound by the same transfer window as pro clubs. so they have to be careful as players tend to move around as not on contract. going to take some adjusting. Welsh league is still running, what was league 2 and 3 which is now league 1 and 2. Next season they are looking to introduce a west wales super league, made up of best local club sides in, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and neath leagues, winner of which will get promoted to welsh league 2.
