Andy Robinson set to retire

Best of luck to him, he chased the money and I remember being pissed off about it at the time, but the years since have been kinder to us than him.

Another player who left for money that ended up worse off......he went from one of the most talked about players in the media with us to a forgotten man who many had thought he had retired a long time ago.....

 

Wish him all the best for the future, came into the professional game quite late but made a huge impact at the Vetch and the Liberty. Yes chased the money but that's no different to what the vast majority of players do. Trunds and Robbo combination was just brilliant at times. Good luck!

Robinson left, 2 summers later we bought Sinclair. We progressed fast!

 

Great player who fitted in with the style of football the club were developing and we managed to have the best years out of him He was unlucky with injuries and without them, who knows what he could have achieved ,far more than he did imo
