Andy Murray resumes his bid for the Queen's title today after his final against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga proved to be a washout yesterday.

Murray and Tsonga are due on court at 12.30pm to start their match. It is the first time in 24 years that Queen's didn't see any action at all on Sunday.

The world number 4 is now hoping that a sizeable crowd will take advantage of the cut-price £10 tickets and cheer him to victory as he prepares for Wimbledon.

The weather forecast for Queen's today looks better than yesterday's, when the fans didn't see a ball hit in anger let alone witness Murray picking up what would be his second notable grass-court title.

The Scot's dominating semi-final victory over Andy Roddick on Saturday encouraged hopes that he will win at Queen's and have a good chance at SW19.

But Frenchman Tsonga managed to prove he is capable of causing an upset. The 26-year-old did score one victory over Murray yesterday.

He recorded a two sets to one win in a table tennis match as the pair waiting in hope of the rain passing and being able to get on court.

And he also had Murray in a spot of bother when they met in last year's Wimbledon quarter-finals. He led by a set and was at 5-5 in a second set tiebreak before leaving an overhead in error, costing him the point and subsequently the match.

But Tsonga seems at ease ahead of today's final. The world number 19 said: "I can play really relaxed against Andy. For the moment he is better, so I have nothing to lose."
