Striker/wideman Andy Mangan signs after deal brokered with Forest Green Rovers to release him from his three year contract.

Signed on a one year contract with I'm guessing options on that for good behaviour...

Hopefully he'll become a hero to town in the near future!
 
Looks like MM has taken a risk with this guy but everyone deserves a second chance in life. If he starts to bang in the goals then MM will be hailed as a genius - if it does not work out ( I notice it is only a one-year contract) it was probably a punt worth taking as goal-scorers are in such short supply. As for the betting
'scandal' I don't think betting on your own team to win is the worst crime in the world.
