I have heard from a couple of my trusted sources that we have a double bid for Andy Keogh and Ebanks-Blake accepted by Wolves. Ebanks-Blake wants regular first team football and is prepared to drop down a division to secure regular first team football. He spent most of last season as a bench warmer. A fantastic signing if we pull that off. He has everything we need in a potent strike partner for Chopra. Strength, Height and a proven goal getter at this level.

Andy Keogh is a strong combative no nonsense Centre Half again who is not featuring in the Wolves first team. My sources have not let me down yet and I rate this as a goer!

Yeah absolutely no doubt. Does that throw these rumours into doubt?

I would be quite happy with the two supposed signings before we start getting excited about any more, although if we did get all three then I think we start to look like promotion contenders.

Why don't you just say we've had a bid accepted for SEB and an un-named defender instead of making yourself look silly JWM!

I wouldn't think we would sign JET and Keogh, too similar and we already have other options for the wings. I would guess Richard Stearman if it was going to be a defender but I don't really know which players are in McCarthy's plans for next season.

Yeah it surely won't be a double swoop!!

If Em Thomas comes we'd have around 8 strikers....!!!

I heard ( could be very wrong ) the cb in question is Jody Craddock.

E B Blake would be a tidy striker. If he signed it would almost certainly be him + Chops uptop, with Thomas L.M.

I'd worry about the wage bill.

Anyone heard anything about Craddock ?

" On 22 June 2011, it was confirmed that Craddock had agreed a new one-year deal to stay at Molineux. "

Well there goes that then, certainly not Jody !

Would love Ebanks-Blake to sign! Him and Chopra up front would be a sight to strike fear into any defence.

As mentioned above, I do worry about our wage bill if these rumours come true, though.

    Don't believe this one.

The wage bill wouldn't be an issue as Scotland and/or Priskin will be shown the door on arrival of a new striker.

    Where art thou Centreback.......?

It would be great if it comes off jonny and with the prices we charge on the gate wages shouldnt really be a problem especially if we can get Scotland and Priskin out the door. Anyone know how old EB is?

Warky I'm poking fun, but keep 'em coming, we're all big enough to know that even where there is a strong basis to a rumour it doesn't mean a deal will get done. <ok>

    Fair Play Yorkie <ok>

I can believe the Ebanks-Blake rumour as it all seems to fit. He would be the perfect foil for Chopra and he isn't getting into the Wolves first team.

Has E Thomas and Stockdale definately signed yet?

Doesn't matter if our wage bill will be or has reduced, I was of the understanding that we have a wage structure in place which prevents players being paid more than something like £20,000pw. If SEB is currently on more than that I doubt he will settle for less.

Ebanks-Blake would be a decent acquisition if he is indeed prepared to drop a league.

Who are you sources Warky? You definitely seem to be up to date with a lot of the transfers, however if your sources believed Keogh to be a "combative no nonsense centre half" then they evidently are not very clued up!

Regardless of that I don't think Keogh would be worth it, showed promise at Scunthorpe alongside a certain Billy Sharp but hasn't got a great scoring record either, bit of a loan player journeyman at the moment. Also as opposed to a previous comment, Keogh is not similar to JET, more of a Francis Jeffers type. Sam Vokes also one who they would probably let go, again not sure about him.

Few defenders there: Stearman, Ward, Zubar, Berra, all decent and makes it seem unlikely we could get them. I think out of all of them Zubar featured the least last term.

Andy Keogh's goal record is as follows.......

Played 249 games for 7 clubs

    Scored 46..........

That is an absolutely horrific record. He was absolutely terrible for Cardiff when I saw him on the box.

I'll probably get slated here but I'd much rather have ( and I wouldn't want him ) Rory Fallon. I personally think Keogh is a shocking player
