I am getting concerned about these targets... http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co....y_vying_with_Leeds_United_for_Gray_signature/
The offer of Championship football and teaming up again with Neil Warnock could tip the balance in Leeds’ favour in the hunt for Andy Gray. Tip the balance? Is someone at the Telegraph a Man United fan?
Cheers TC. Time will tell if this is lazy journalism or a genuine plan to re-sign an ex Leeds player. In Warnock I trust, but he's pushing it a bit. Maybe he'll play Gray & Poleon together to keep the average age down a bit!!! & then again, maybe not.
Morning YWBK. Succinct & to the point as ever. We await the 'Wall come back with baited breath. By the way, if our starting CBs are Lees & Pearce, how are you going to cope having to change your name again... or will Kisnorbo do a lazarus & make a miraculous recovery?
YEP are now reporting on this (late again) I am starting to wonder if they have someone who is a member of this board?
They probably read the forum as its the greatest LUFC forum out there with the most knowledgeable fans We will of course have conclusive proof when they run with one of TCs wind ups!
My age and memory are starting to count against me. Why do I think that the Andy Gray I am sure I used to watch at Leeds in the 80s - who was slow and a winger, and nowhere near as good as either his dad or uncle, and who left because he could not get in the team - must have retired during the 2000s! How can that same Andy Gray have played in 1996 in the League Cup final? Am sure he left way before then, rather than played with Yeboah. I must have Alzheimers. Maybe he was really good too.
To be fair, the bloke scored twice at our place and looked useful. But, being fair, most strikers looked useful at out place last season
Im suprised they haven't already. Seriously though - if you sign Gray, you could have Drury 34 Brown 34 and Gray 35 all on the pitch at the same time - think the younger players (do you have any) will be knackered
