Anybody think Dawson might be looking to leave if he isn't going to be first choice?

Is Ghilas on trial somewhere as he doesn't seem to be being considered for any kind of match?

Didn't Ghilas play against Winterton? Or was it Ferriby?

I hope Dawson doesn't leave. Other than his shocking set-pieces he was OK last season, not great, but OK. He is a perfect back up LB and I hope he stays.

Ghilas played at Winterton, but I don't think he's figuring in anyone's plans, we'll do whatever we can to shift him.

Most of the scunny fans think he will end up back there.

Dawson will be kept for back up for Dudgeon. 2 players for every position is quite common nowadays.

As for Ghilas- i hope he gets a transfer sooner rather than later.

Dawson has to stay, there's nothing for certain to say that Dudgeon will be first choice yet. I think he probably will but you never know from pre-season (remember Halmosi?) and even if he is, we'll still need Andy for cover. Kilbane is the left sided player we'll be trying to get rid of.

Maybe if we can't shift killer we'll be forced to keep him as cover at LB and move Dawson on if theres interest. Dawson wont be on daft wages be he must still be getting a fair whack?

Andy's been a great servant to the club and he is due a testimonial so he won't be leaving just yet, unless someone comes in with an offer he or City can't refuse.
As for Ghilas anyone who wears orange boots has to be good, and he ain't

Agree with the other posters that Daws has to stay. It's looking likely that Dudgeon will be first choice left back, but the experience of AD is vital to have as back up. He'll play some part next season.

As for Ghilas, he contests Bullard as the worst signing Hull City ever made. Never seen anything which makes me think that he's a £2.5m player who can play in the Premier League. The sooner he leaves the better <ok>

That's because we have seen him like 4-5 times (and he has impressed in most of them ;)) Bolton and Man United was 2 of them

Winterton. 20 mins. No confidence. Ineffective and no real threat to a Sunday League defence

True, but there must have been a reason that he wasn't getting into the team ahead of Altidore and ***an. I maintain that he should have buried that chance at Old Trafford...

who's wage is more of a burden - Dawson or Kilbane. I d suggest that there probably isnt a great deal between the two in terms of salary and Kilbane is probably more versitile.....Dawson still lives in the land of the yeller bellies and carrot crunchers. i reckon a good bet for a player coach at Scunny
