His coming home! Newcastle are going to swoop in and bring back to SJP

However if they are not successfull with their attempts, they will try again in Jan 2016 and if they cant get him, they will try again in the summer of 2016. But if a deal cant be reached, attempts will be made in 2017

Catch my drift! Ever single transfer window until Carroll dies, we will continue to be linked with him! stupid lazy journelists!

    We've moved on I think/hope.
I can see him going to Palace though.
Someone will be needed to get on the end of all those crosses from their left backs.

I'd take him. I'd take anyone right now. Remy, Carroll, Ba, whatever. Come on.

I'd take him for a few million. He's a fantastic target man. I actually don't mind playing long balls to him because he makes it work. If we can keep him fit for half a season at least he's a great asset. I'd much rather hoof balls to him than ****ing Perez.

No more than £5m, but at best you're only getting 15 games a season. Just like Big Dunc, these large fellas always struggle for fitness.

I agree. I think 'Pards' will be looking to sign him, if available.

That's exactly who he reminds me of, Duncan Ferguson. Almost unplayable on his day, but those days are few and far between due to injury.

Cracking player when fit. Never fit. For the money and wages, a club like ours need more.

Newcastle - Liverpool - West Ham - Crystal Palace?

Andy Carroll's career is slowly but surely going backwards.

Progressively smaller club each move means he should be playing for Luton Town in two years <ok>

So the consesus appears to be against bringing him back but I'd be interested to know who you would rather

    Austin
    or
    Carroll

But only on the basis that if we signed either, they would be fit for a minimum of 20 pl games a season

Carroll for me is the better player and a geordie, he has had some injury problems, but I for one would like to see him overcome that

Crocked and ****ed. We may as well get fat bollocks Lambert for a year off the Scousers. I actually wouldn't mind that tbh.

If he is fit then Carroll all day long for me. Proven goalscorer in this league over multiple seasons and gives us a good target in the box other than Williamson!

I was actually thinking the same thing this afternoon. Lambert at the right price could be.a useful addition for a couple of years max. Could form a good partner for Perez with his hold up play.
