    If I was the Liverpool boss, I would not want him to go on loan to any of my rivals, so it wouldn't be a massive surprise if ends up with someone a little lower down the table. I'm sure QPR will be linked in the next 48 hours.

    He fits QPR criteria perfectly. A thug, overrated, high wages and overpriced. The only issue is he's not old.

    Andy Carroll is one of the most overrated players in the Prem. If I were you guys I wouldn't want him either, waste of wages

    I suspect it's because there are a number of dickhead QPR fans and some like to drop the bait same as with Ipswich

    i seem to be in a minority but i'd take carroll at norwich, absolutely no question at all. play him in the right system, play to his strengths and he'd be an absolute beast of a centre forward. liverpool seemed to notice this in the final few days of last season, once it was too late.

    won't happen though. can you imagine what his wages are like...!?

    I completely agree- he surprised me and in the end I thought he was totally underused at the World Cup, should have replaced the ineffectual Welbeck. Welbeck probably will be good in a year or two, but he just doesn't strike the fear of God into defences like Carroll.

    As you say, wage-wise we won't be anywhere near him. My guess is Wet Sham like the rumours
