Andy carroll transfer request

Heard of the radio earlier ACs previous agent posted on twitter he'd handed in a transfer request... (most likely not true but anyways)

Where would/could he go and Who would buy him?

 

The agent was talking about his transfer request here. Seen his twitter feed.

 

Stoke maybe? would certainly suit his style.
QPR could splash some of that cash that they have.
'Arry might want him.

What did he say? Has he put a transfer request in?

 

Stoke/QPR (maybe even Villa) is my guess. They both have willing owners and both might just sanction a 10-15 million bid. Failing that I cant see them shifting him unless one of the newly Arab rich clubs abroad (PSG/Malaga/Anzhi) takes a punt on his potential.

 

Stoke would certainly not suit his style. His style is ill suited to hoofball. The only time you want the ball in the air for Carroll is crosses. He is surprisingly average at winning his share of long balls. He is better suited to passing football with wingers. He thrives on crosses, and winning free kicks when you play it into his chest/thigh/feet. One of the greatest falicys going that his game is long ball, he's pretty poor at it. Its also why he struggled initially for Liverpool, Carragher in particular was just lumping everything when Carroll was on the pitch. QPR would make sense though because they are in desperate need of a striker. We won't buy him back, on too much money.

I know a lad who claims to have spoken to Carroll over the new year and he reckons Carroll said he'll not be going anywhere in January or the foreseeable future unless Liverpool want rid. He said he has settled there now and feels like its been a good move. He'd like to finish his career at Newcastle but is not sure it will ever happen now. He reckons everything is first class at the club and that they are really well looked after. The lad claims he told him after a bit of badgering that he is on 75K per week, and pocketed 3.5m off the transfer himself. The lad I know is quite reliable but obviously I still take it with a pinch of salt.

 

There is only one team Andy Carroll would leave Liverpool for.........and thats us.

I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Just to clarify, AC told to put transfer request by NUFC or his advisors, Tompkins seems to be doing the same.

I'm confused. From what I can gather he is using Andy Carroll as an example of what is supposedly happening to Tompkins at the moment. Dunno if I'm getting that right.

So Tomkins doesn't actually want to leave, but has handed in a transfer request because of his agent?

 

Andy Carroll hasn't put in a transfer request at Liverpool, he's just saying how he put in a transfer request here, and that's what is happening to Tomkins apparently.

Don't care about Carroll. I wouldn't want him back, and Liverpool definitely aren't going to let him go, not after the Suarez ban anyway, they can't afford to let him go.

 

Sounds like it. Hope it isn't true to be honest, don't want the lad coming here almost against his will
