<peacedove>After all,it was not the fault of Andy Carroll, he is only a scape-goat because Liverpool were not able to make top four last season.
Generally, the club under performed last season, and it was towards the end of the season that Carroll started to give us hope.
In your opinion, do you think he should be allowed to stay for another year?.
    Your comments.

without knowing thats in rodgers mind i find it hard to answer.

    therefore i'll give two scenarios.

    1. if Rodgers has a guy lined up for 20mil and he has no money and has to sell carroll to get him then fair enough. its his right to manage the squad but the guy he's looking at had better be a striker cos we've looked toothless so far.

    2. If rodgers just doesn't rate the guy before he's really looked and talked to him then i'd be disappointed and think carroll should stay and play.

With Carroll on the pitch I can see it creating loads of space for the attacking midfielder, If this is Stevie G there will be plenty of space for his driving runs and chances to slot in through balls for the players out wide cutting inside

I'm still trying to figure out what the system is, before I can decide if Andy fits into it. If it's 11 headless chickens, then he is as good as anyone else.

Open space for the AM? He needs to stay high and in the box for that type of space to happen. He had a bad habit of being everywhere but the box last year!

If the midfield behind you was:

    Hendo, Adam, Spearing, Downing

Your only hope of getting the ball was being anywhere but the box :)

Very good point. Not Carroll's fault if all the players behind him are ****e with the exception of hendo

Reading between the lines then, he is aware of interest but doesn't want to give anything away, and he would rather he left but doesn't mind keeping him so much.

Agree with this though wondering if he isn't going to play him a bit between now and sometime before the end of August as he only joined the pre season later on and BR may feel he has not had a good enough look.

I imagine BR will evaluate him but he must have his own views on the player, he's human after all.
