I believe Andy Carroll should have come at least ten minutes on Saturday. We got so many crosses into United penalty box but we were unable to make use of them. United actually got out of jail.
Not so sure, it was our passing and movement that was causing trouble, If Carroll had come on we may have started looking to lob the ball into him. I think it was Bellamy who should have come on his direct style of play may have caused trouble. Doesn't matter now anyway.
I think kenny settled to be honest, I think he saw it as too much of a risk with utd committed to the attack with thier 3 subs. we had midfield so he didn't want to weaken it any and just took lucas off for henderson. Suarez would have come off for carroll and that was not about to happen.
Don't wish to question Kenny's tactics, but I think Bellamy would have been more of a threat than Carroll. Probably Bellamy on for Downing.
Agree the game was dying for Carroll to come on. Gerrard looked tired he should of come off. I would brought Carroll & Bellemy
