We are being linked with a move for Andros Townsend after he had a bust up with the Tottenham fitness coach and we will let go for around £8M.

I would take him but do we need another winger with Fuchs freeing Schlupp up to play on the wing? Dyer is here for the season and I can't see Mahrez leaving in January. And theres still Albrighton

I do - would be a great signing and fits with the way we play.

Would be amazing seeing him and Shlupp on the wings and Mahrez and Vardy in the middle - would be the fastest attackers ever.

We can cut Dyer's loan short in Jan if need be to fit him in.

... the only negative is his final ball and perhaps decision making ... he would fit in with our fleet footed counter attacking methodology ...

Would be a good addition but I thought we were going back in for Carrilo from Sporting Lisbon.

Have you had a look at Karol Linetty on YouTube, who we are being linked with? I know it's only edited highlights of him, but if it's true and we pull it off, he looks one hell of a player. Goal scoring-creative midfielder, only 20, going on to big things.

He'd be a great signing but surely not one Claudio would go for. Price and wages would be high, plus he plays pretty similarly to Mahrez, who is a better player. Could only see it if Mahrez leaves.

I wouldn't replace any of our wingers at the moment, not even Schlupp FF <ok>

:) ... nobody is irreplaceable... Jeff wasn't overly effective on Saturday and the Tinkerman made another good call ... one point on the above ... wages are no longer a limiting factor under the current ownership. ...Cambiasso would not have played for candyfloss believe me ..

Now we know (pretty much) we will be in the Premier League next season we can start to plan for the next stage of progression for the club meaning extending the stadium, spending more on facilities and transfer fees and wages.

I'd rather assess this at the halfway point tbh, once we have played all the teams we'll have a better knowledge of the situation.

We still have Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea (lets face it, they HAVETO pickup form before they play us) to play, so I don't expect us to be going into the new year in the top 6, possibly not even top 8.

Though if we can keep playing well against our pre-season "relegation rivals", then I think we should be more than fine. I'd like to think that they would look to expand one of the stands though, i've had to plump for silver fox membership this year just to get tickets for even some of the "lower end" fixtures, don't think I even got a chance at a Man U ticket.

Assessing transfer fees and wages for next summer will probably depend if we finish in the top or bottom half.
