Jeez, that would be a terrible end to his career. I think it's kinda of sad how his career has just faded, as he has all the talent in the world to play for a lot longer. When he first came to Arsenal, he was a good as anyone in the PL and dragged us to a top four finish in that season. I loved watching him play, because he was unique. And, no Arsenal fan is going to forget his one man show at Anfield in that 2008-09 season.

I can't see this happening. He'll be offered less money, but it wouldn't even surprise me to see him offered a fairly substantial contract by another London club.
Imagine him playing in behind Berbatov at Fulham, if they were both up for it on the day?

That would be brilliant. Just hope, we are not the team they are facing on that day. <yikes>

Also surprised, that QPR did not take a punt on him in the January transfer window, they did with everyone else. <laugh>

that was the 08/09 season SJ, big result which helped us to the Title. Anyway what happened to him, he would get ahead of Gervinho in the Arsenal starting 11 if he was on form

It all started to go downhill for him after he failed to help Russia qualify for the 2010 world cup. They lost out to Slovakia in a world cup qualifier and after that he was never the same player because he seemed to lose a lot of his motivation after that.

Such a waste and to be honest his motivation has looked shot for too long.
