...seems to be persuded by premiership clubs, after his impressive start to the season. I'm sensing we need to get in quickly to sign him permanently, as he has probably been our stand out performer so far.
I wonder if he would have any loyalty to us, or wether he would jump at the chance to play in the premiership. Hopefully, we will be in a strong league position come the new year, and therefore help us push on for promotion.

Bullard was wanted by premier league clubs aswell but he ended up here. Andrews is out of contract in the summer so I assume there will be plenty of opportunities for him. All we can do is continue to play well and hope he likes it here. He made a big jump from MK Dons to Blackburn which didnt quite work out so hopefully money wont mean everything and we can sort a deal out.

Actually Spelling Man, “persuaded”, however spelt, was surely incorrectly used in that context.

It might have been: “Andrews is apparently being courted by Premiership clubs after his…”, or “Andrews is coming to the attention of Premiership clubs after his …” and so on.

I think Spelling Man is Canary Football/Political Canary is disguise having purchased Microsoft Office 2010 and wants to do something with it.

The Spelling Pig missed 'whether' too.
Don't come on our board trying to correct people when you are not good enough yourself. I think there are enough of us on here to do it ourselves if we wished to be so pedantic.

I think the people from the Oxford English Dictionary want their money back.

Back on topic though.
Ipswich, like many championship clubs, is a great shopping window to put yourself in. We have had many players on loan recently who have then gone on to other things.
Mark Noble from West Ham became a regular for them after his loan spell.
Asmir Begovic was bought and became a number one after his time here.
Jack Colback was given a couple of chances to break into the first team but didn't really take them.
You could say the same for Sonks. Nobody wanted him in the summer, we brought him in on a year contract and he's doing great. Who's to say someone won't come in for him now?
The good thing for us, and the only way we will have a chance of keeping the likes of Andrews and Collins, is to keep winning games and build a strong team spirit that they will want to reamin a part of. A lot of people would rather have a crap job with great colleagues and work atmosphere than a great job with ****ty mates and atmosphere. I'm not saying Ipswich is a crap job but you get my drift.

Totally agree. At the moment it is only rumours that prem clubs are interested in Andrews. Whenever you have loan players being key men in your squad loosing them is always an issue, however its an issue I'd take in the case of Andrews and Collins.

I thought you already had a buy option in his loan agreement?

I think we do, but this only means we have agreed a price with Blackburn I believe. Therefore Andrews could fail to agree personal terms, as he knows other prem clubs are sniffing around. Only time will tell.
