Unbelievably, we seem to be letting Grant Leadbitter follow David Norris to Pompey.

This Andrews fella had better be good...

So long as we get good money for Leadbitter, I'm not too worried. Drury can play there, and it would open up a space for creativity in the midfield. Maybe it could leave a space for Bullard in the side too.

But as I say, it would have to be a good amount for him.

Chuffed to bits if this is right.

£2.6 mill very overpriced player on big wages, awful set pieces and not a lot of creativity.

    Good move all around.

Pompey aren't going to be giving us 2.6m so it doesn't matter what he cost us. Awful set pieces yes, but when the side is playing well he's a very good player.

Very poor move in my opinion, unless he has refused to sign an improved contract which would mean he could go for nowt at the end of the season (i think).

Pompey will pay around £800k, or less knowing us. So we let a decent 25 year old leave for a rival and bring in an average 30 year old on loan, sorry but those who think this is good business are insane!!

STRENGTH IN DEPTH, NOT BRING ONE IN THEN LET ONE OUT!!

I never understood why some Town fans hated Leadbitter so much? Yes he came for a lot of money and had an underwhelming season last time out but in all honesty he is as good as any midfielder we've had for years, he's 25 and I honestly think he does a decent job for us and could be integral this season. He was one of the few players last season to try to get the ball down and keep it (although that meant backwards passes) but with him in the team we kept the ball better

What is it with our captain's and portsmouth . Is it the connection with the navy . Aye aye captain.
Don't want Leadbitter to leave . Will make our central midfield positions a wee bit old.

Leadbitter wasn't good enough last season and he wouldn't be this season. For me its as simple as that; we have to upgrade!

I bet Leadbitter is on a high wage, we threw money at anything that moved when Keane was in charge. Andrews is a good replacement.

I won't be sorry to see him go, another high wage earner gone. If we can get anything over a million i would be well chuffed.

Whats the betting that when pompey play us he scores from a free-kick?

Think he has done well for us but i believe he is a 'KEANE' man that said i wish him well if he moves on and wish him even better if he stays.
