Andre Ward has taken the Super Middleweight Crown left by Calzaghe after defeating Carl Froch. But who would win this fantasy fight out of the two Super Middle Kings? Calzaghe recently said he was impressed by Ward but would have the power and speed to beat him?
AAAAaaaaaaaaaargh. No idea. I don't think it is Joe's power that would win him the fight but the number of punches thrown......if that would win him the fight. Ward is good enough to make anyone look bad. Talking about the Froch fight with the event junkie boxing fans it was very hard to explain that Froch is actually very good but he couldn't get in the right place to show it and that was all down to the brilliance of Ward. I think Calzaghe could have gotten to him eventually. Ward did tire badly. I think he'd tire much faster against a fighter who throws as much as Joe. .... I'll post that now and change my mind in ten minutes. Whadda you reckon?
I would have to go for Calzaghe but would have been an interesting fight and no push over for both fighters.
