I thought I would start a thread , for debate after every match, that calmly analyses the exact role and benefit of our midfielder Andre Dozzell.
He plays in a position that I consider the most important in the team, creating attacks , supporting the defence and being the fulcrum for the rhythm and balance of the side.

in summary “what did he actually do in the last game?”

If you watch him all game it will be more a case of Doze off . He's lightweight, doesn't create **** all, can't really tackle and doesn't score any. Apart from that he's great !

My mate has a spare ticket now a few rows behind the dugouts so I’ll probably give up on the game and watch Ainsworth poncing about in his cowboy shoes after 15 minutes.

Dozzell is lovely with five yard safe passes. Apart from that he’s a conference player if he’s a footballer at all. Waste of a shirt.

I always think you can't really judge a player until they've started 100 professional games. Clive at LFW has done some interesting analysis on this and the number of players that suddenly kick on after 100 starts is interesting.

By my count he's started about 110 games now (subbed on another 50 or so times). So it's now or never for Andre. Small chance he kicks on and proves us all wrong - hope so, however unlikely.

You're not thinking of starting another fan club are you?
