Why do players always have to act so stupid?

<doh> ****tards need to learn how to hold their liquor. Bet this will have an outcome his future at United this summer. We seem split on this board on wether or not he should stay or go. Unless he phoned Fergie and asked if it was ok if he got drunk and drove around Portugal, don't think he has much to look foreword to.

We are split, there are those that can see he's a fat, lazy, up his arse ****wit who is wasting his talent, I am firmly in this court, and there are those who for some wierd reason think he should be given chance after chance because he might 'come good'.

He won't, hopefully this is the nail in his coffin that he deserves and he can **** off and stop stealing his wages.

    <ok>

Time to get rid this summer. Fergie gave him permission to go abroad for a while and this is how he repays the club.

dont see the fuss tbh. Isnt the first wont be the last

Didnt rooney also get drunk etc when injured?

Anderson has been plagued with injuries since coming to UTD, very serious ones at that. The frustration alone would drive you to drink

potentially a star for me, and SAF it seems

For me, based on what i see in his ability when getting a run in the team

Also both him and SAF have said this was to be his breakout season, unfortunately he was injured again

People forget how serious his injuries have been

I think Anderson has incredible talent, enough to be one of the best players in the world. Seriously.

Sadly he is wasting it and probably will do throughout his career as he seems to like a drink, a pie and a bird far too much.

I think his injuries and lack of fitness go hand in hand and are not a coincidence. If he could be arsed to get fit, he wouldn't get injured as frequently.

He leaves me completely underwhelmed 90% of the time and very occasionally gives a glimpse of what he could be.

I am 100% certain he will never reach his potential.

You may be right Ruffian. The only reason I would disagree at this precise moment is SAF's faith in him TBH

I dont doubt he has talent and for me his injury list has been unlucky. I dont think SAF would have put up with anything else based on SAFs record

The drink driving is certainly stupid and maybe the thing that SAF gets mad about. However I dont think he has 'always' been a problem

Yeah, I agree we'll see but I've more or less given up myself.
We need to buy someone in his position this summer and not hope he will eventually snap out of it. If he gets left behind so be it.

This. Honestly wonder what some people see in the lad. Never really impressed me. Time to go.

Not been overly impressed with Anderson from day one. His passing is not great, he has no real defensive nouse and can't shoot for toffee. So I'm not sure what he offers to the team (when fit).
Some people on here were raving about the dream partnership of Anderson and Cleverly, but there gapping holes in the centre of midfield. Thankfully Utd had the ball more often than the opposition and did something with it.
    Obviously the injuries haven't helped.
