He kills 77 people and gets 21 years. Is that justice? I'm not into capital punishment, but surely he should never be released.
Thank Christ you started a thread on this. I was just thinking "why has no one posted a thread about Anders Brevik" and, lo and behold, you go and do it. ps That's sarcasm
Aye, because we all know better than the Norwegian justice system. Is Not606 the right place to sit in judgement of a child killer? <SexSpider>
Not606 isn't exactly the International Court of Justice I suppose, but it's pretty close, so we get to sometimes sit in judgement of the world's bastards. My vote is for a life of incarceration.
I'm in a bad mood today so my vote goes to eternal bumraping by rabid Muslims. Not rabid in the figurative sense as in fervent. Rabid as in having rabies I think this kind of proves that reactiveness and emotion shouldn't enter the justice system.
He should be forced to read Medro's huge thread of ****e all day, every day Failing that, just put him in the same room as RebelBhoy for an hour a day.
I'd set him free but insist that he's made to live in Merseyside - if things went to plan that could do us all a massive favour.
That's a good point Irish. If someone takes to a car with a set of keys, we call him a **** head and question his intellect. But kill a **** load of people and they'll find you sane. Strange old world.
I see them as real evidence that god exists - "mess with me and that's what you'll end up as"........... Otherwise you'd have to explain how the population has managed to turn millions of years of evolution on its head.
It's more ****ed up than the stuff done in Abu Ghraib, luckily the yanks haven't thought of it yet... I might give the CIA a call and talk £££s...
It's a good idea in principle but now that I've thought about it; is it really wise to give religious fanatics (Americans & imprisoned Muslim extremists) access to Medro and Rebel? Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib would have ****e all over the walls from dirty protests and they'd all be going on about Popes and some **** called Billy.
True. However, I think people have the right to question the guidelines used when making these decisions. I don't care whether he rots in a regular prison or high security mental hospital. Those who drew up the guidelines used to assess people such as Brevik are in a no win situation I suppose, but I think to use premediation as a criteria of assessment is a bit flawed. Just for the sake of making a point, I'm going to raise an old ghost ... Hitler. His actions were premeditated, yet we look back and proclaim him a mad man. Anders Brevik's actions were well outside the norm. So far outside, that I think most of us would label him as insane.
