See exactly as I said on that other thread as soon as someone messes up about someone higher profile then us they make a bloody article about it, that badge could stick a year round for us and no one would give a ****.
Sometimes think journos don't ever check their work - article about Fraizer Campbell in the Observer today has him " August 2007 - Goes on loan to Hull and scores 15 League goals but cannot save the team from relegation........" FFS!!! Does mention in passing that he learned a lot from Nick Barmby but that comes across as just a name check!!
I like Mancini too, but I thought it was strange yesterday when he said that the lead at the top of the table was only two points because 'United will win tomorrow.' Then I realised they were playing Spurs and it seems even more strange. I don't know the result of that game yet and don't want to, just pointing it it seemed a really weird thing to say.
You'd like to think that someone at their workplaces give these journos a kick up the arse for making suck piss poor mistakes. I doubt it. If I make an error at work that goes out to the public, we have staff employed to investigate it. I'd have to write up a reflection and there are monthly meetings to look at ways to prevent this in the future. Now fair enough, worst case scenario someone could die, but look at poor redroar! His blood pressure can't take much more of this!
