Thought I wuld let our Hull residents know that our expensive non league player has notched his second goal pre season against lower league opposition, whilst the German expensive unknown has still to make his mark. A 5-0 demolition behind closed doors of Lincoln, with Lloyd Dyer scoring twice with goals from Vardy, Nugent and Andy King. This isnt meant to gloat, its just that you lot spend so much time on our board, its almost like you have adopted us as your second team.
How can I give a monkey's about a club that has :- 1) Never played competitive European football 2) Never had an England World Cup winner playing for them at the time it occurred. 3) Never spent more than three seasons in the Premier League 4) Never won the League Cup......... Vardy will be good IMO
If you read the match report it says that the 'Nugent - Vardy partnership was given extra time to develop'. They do seem to be getting a lot of game time together. Seems like they'll start the season as the preferred pairing.
I sincerely hope you cleared this thread with the hull mods before posting? I have asked our mods to forward all our prospective posts to the hull board for approval....or they get upset... according to one poster on the hull forum, nigel "raped" their club before leaving....the hull fans are very delicate creatures..we MUST be more sensitive...I implore you..don't cause any more trouble, they are still suffering from post traumatic stress disorder...

I think it is? Right who can get eight? On a different note anybody else think Beckfords going to be frozen out until a buyer is found. I still think the guy is the best natural goal scorer in this league. OK I know he does not run round like a headless chicken but surly NP can find away to get the best from him.
