    They did have Michael Brown (is he still there?)

    Then they got Pearcey
    Followed by Jamie Ashdown
    Then Luke Varney
    and now David Norris.

    Now I understand why Greg Halford didn't tear up his contract - the club needs the transfer fee to cover the outstanding payment to Wolves.

    Just Liam Lawrence and Erik Huseklepp to go and Kitson, Ben Haim and Kanu.

    League 2 ............ we're on our way!

    You can see it that way, but we're doing you more good than bad. We're helping you. It's good for both parties. We're getting decent players and you're getting money that you desperately need.

    I always liked Michael Brown. Really going to miss Chuck.

    Agree, BUT in this day and age, you must take "the rough with the smooth", as the old saying goes. You have signed some of our best players, so it is time for you to make a move for 'classy' Dave Kitson - alright, he can't hit a barn door with a banjo, but the "ginger warrior" has so much to offer........honest. :laugh:

    Then there is Tal Ben Haim. In all honesty, a very experienced and talented defender. Problem is, he is a bit of a leech when it comes to money. He is like a nasty smell - you just can't get rid of him. :bandit:

    Finally, if you are looking for a skilful, pacy, young defender, no need to look any further than "young" Kanu. Has got years of service left in him. What a signing he would be for your team. <magic>
